The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.
Duration: 2 April 2024 - 31 August 2024
Responsibilities:
- To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional events
- To provide clerical and logistics support for organizing start-up and innovation related events, including exhibitions, seminars, competitions
- To handle enquiries from event and undertake on-site duties
- To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information
- To liaise and maintain close contact with delegates and potential customers
- To perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system and meeting schedules
Requirements:
- University graduate
- Prior working experience in organizing fairs and Project or management of large-scale conferences is an advantage
- Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
- Willingness to work long hours
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, creative, with team work spirits and can meet tight deadlines
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
