The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, is looking for a dynamic and high caliber professional to join our Exhibition Services Department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Section Head to drive strategies and tactics to develop new customers by actively involving in sales pitches and presentations to customers with innovative solutions
- Liaise with internal counterparts and work with designers for stand/booth design proposals to reach out new customers
- Evaluate and monitor operation costs to ensure quality deliverables within strict budgetary control
- Monitor on-site set up/dismantle of stand and evaluate performance of contractors from trade fairs, exhibitions & events
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- University graduate with a minimum of 7 years’ experience, of which at least 3 years at supervisory level, in sales, account servicing, design operation
- Experience in production operation, cost estimation and booth drawings; Knowledge on multimedia (Premiere, After Effect and Audition) will be an advantage
- Proven track records in sales and key account management in exhibitions field
- Strong business acumen with a drive for success and strong aptitude in delivering results
- A proactive team player; customer-oriented and self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Willing to work long hours and on public holidays
- Workplace at HKTDC Exhibition Services & Logistics Centre in Tseung Kwan O
Remuneration and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
