The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.
Duration: 26 July 2024 - 14 November 2024
Responsibilities:
- To handle enquiries, collect samples and materials from customers for overseas trade fairs
- To provide clerical and administrative supports
- To handle logistics arrangement
- To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information
- To liaise and maintain close contact with other departments and external vendors
Requirements:
- University graduate with 2 - 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in event management, project management and marketing (Candidates with less experience might be considered as Project Executive)
- Prior working experience in organizing fairs and Project or management of large-scale conferences is an advantage
- Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
- Willingness to work long hours
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, creative, with team work spirits and can meet tight deadlines
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
