The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organization promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Merchandise Trade and Innovation Department.
Responsibilities:
- To provide project management and clerical support to project managers
- To execute the promotion and publicity plan to maximise the impact of the project
- To recruit and liaise with participating companies for their online presences
- To handle enquiries from participating companies
- To provide support on database compilation and data entry into systems
- To follow up with different parties for the compilation of various reports
- To provide onsite support of the projects (local, the mainland or overseas) as required by project managers
- To ensure smooth and timely operation of the events and related activities
Requirements:
- University graduate with a minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in project management and event management is preferred
- Interest in data analysis and direct communication with customers is preferred
- Prior experience in e-commerce and/or digital marketing in Mainland China is an advantage
- Proactive, self-initiated, and very attentive to details
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work OT upon request
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be offered.
