Summary:
DMC is currently looking for a Raise Bore Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis, based in Sudbury, Ontario. The Raise Bore Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of raise drill, crew, equipment and projects.  This role requires flexibility to travel to other project locations, as required.
 

Responsibilities:
•    Organizes and leads the mobilization, setup, work performed, tear down and demobilization of raise drill, crew and equipment, both on and off site.
•    Works within the contract presented to the client.
•    Supervises crews and coordinates the activities of the workers in surface and underground mining projects.
•    Provides training to raise bore crews as required. 
•    Daily documentation and correspondence between client and company on performance of raise drill, crew and equipment.
•    Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which the individual has control, including adherence to all requirements applicable to DMC.
•    Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:
•    Experience in a similar supervisory role.
•    Specialty raise bore modules and Ontario Common Core modules (Supervisor) preferred.
•    Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. 
•    Solid oral and written communication skills. 
•    Strong computer skills.
•    Able to work rotation, as well as day and night shifts.
•    Able and willing to travel as required.
•    Valid drivers license required.
