ROV Pilot Technician 1

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

 Minimum 1 years of offshore ROV / Trenching experience

 Offshore operation, data recording, maintenance and repair or the ROV / Trenching / ROVDrill system and ancillary equipment under the direction of the Superintendent / Supervisor

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

 To perform ROV operations as instructed and in accordance with approved procedures and Canyon QHSE Policy and Objectives

 Stock-taking and inventory control of the system spares and consumables.

 Maintain system and project records (e.g. inventory, weekly reports, dive logs, video logs, etc… under the direction of the Superintendent or Supervisor.

 To conduct and maintain records of maintenance in compliance with Canyon Offshore Maintenance System.

 To ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and safe.

 To carry out other tasks as delegated by Canyon Project Manager or Superintendent / Supervisor

 To cultivate and maintain a positive attitude.

 To apply safe work ethics.

     Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

COMPETENCIES:

 Shall meet IMCA competence criteria by satisfactorily completing assessment as a Pilot/Technician Grade 1 with a nominal minimum of 1 year’s offshore experience and 100 hours piloting.

 Shall possess extensive knowledge of current safety and quality standards as applied to systems and their requirements in an offshore environment.

 Shall possess current HUET / BOSIET, medical certification, Safe Gulf and passport.

Canyon Offshore is hiring ROV technicians and supervisors with Perry (XLX/XLS)and Schilling (UHD/HD) experience. All applicants must be US citizens or hold valid US Green Card. Schedules range from fixed rotations to project call-out work. Email CV with project history to workatcanyon@helixesg.com
