The Health PMO support contract provides IT program management, project management, technical management, financial management, functional planning, and documentation analysis in support of the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) Enterprise Program Management Division (EPMD) Health Portfolio

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Review all technical deliverables (e.g. design specifications) for the assigned scope area for accuracy, completeness and correctness; confirming decisions from Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) meetings and previous deliverables are included and correct.
  • Identify, analyze, and document discrepancies, inconsistencies and defects and report outcomes
  • Review quality control processes and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Monitor technical project activity related to identifiable segments of work within the EHRM/VistA Transition effort
  • Understand system, application, and processes assigned (e.g. data conversion, etc), providing real-time observations as appropriate, and documenting issues/risks for the IV&V team based on industry standards and best practices
  • Review current data structures and recommends optimizations and reconfigurations as required
  • Collaboratively work with key stakeholders from IT, business, and analytics at enterprise levels


  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required. 
  • 10 Years of Experienced Required (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
  • 3 Years of Experience supporting VistA within the Dept. of VA.
