Description

LTS, Inc. is seeking a Enteprise Network Security Intermediate SME to support a DHS PMSS program.  LTS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Position Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical engineering subject matter expertise and technical engineering support services supporting the overall program initiatives, technical integration and application of the Intelligence Community and Sharing and Safeguarding technologies across the enterprise.
  • Perform systems engineering, technical analysis and provide architecture support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the IT intelligence communities and knowledge of intelligence communities’ policy and standards.
  • Apply a wide set of engineering disciplines to the planning, design, analysis, roll-out, and support of the DHS information systems. The Contractor shall lead and provide support to resolving issues with engineers, system administrators and other technical initiative owners.
  • Develop sharing and safeguarding technical architecture and cross reference it with the DHS Systems Engineering Life-Cycle Compliance (SELC) and other technical service delivery capabilities.
  • Support the Intelligence Community initiative and assist DHS engineering staff with development of a sound technical and financial approach.
  • Provide technical analysis of sharing and safeguarding initiatives across IT systems.
  • Provide system engineering support, including technical systems engineering schematics, drawings and diagrams.
  • Provide verification and soundness of technical approaches.
  • Assist performing project engineering and technical analysis.
  • Develop project charters and facilitate customer kick-off meetings with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, document and dissiminate meeting minutes.
  • Research, analyze and interpret requirements and impacts for all initiatives related to Executive Order13587.
  • Perform data analysis and draft responses in response to Request for Information (RFI) data calls.
  • Assist conducting Systems Engineering Life-Cycle Compliance Reviews to validate those requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Business Request Form to reflect changes in business processes and services.
  • Develop schedules and management plans for the Systems Engineering Life-Cycle Compliance (SELC).
  • Manage and track the Business Requests, Technical Direction and quality assurance.
  • Perform requirements management and configuration control.
  • Review and coordinate the approval of Change Requests (CR).
  • Track technical architecture product sets and versions as they are defined and introduced in the CICCB.
  • Assist in performing technical and security analysis, assessment, and evaluation of the DHS IT systems.
  • Review software and hardware for compliance.
  • Update and maintain Technical Reference Model (TRM)
  • Perform technical analysis and monitoring of security controls.
  • Perform development, analysis and technical recommendation of Security Architecture.
  • Assist in preparing documents necessary to obtain the Authorization to Operate (ATO), for the specific IT Systems in accordance with the DHS Management Directive 4300 Bravo and NIST-800-53 Risk Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications.

• 4 years of Program Management  and IT Engineering experience required

  • BS/BA degree
  • 4 years experience with Enterprise Network Security
  • CISSP Required
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams.

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
