Required Skills & Qualifications.

  • 8 years of Program Management and IT Engineering/Infrastructure experience required
  • BS/BA degree
  • 5 years experience with Network Engineering and Enterprise Network Security
  • Enterprise Operations experience
  • CISSP Required
  • Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with other cross-functional teams.

• Active Secret, Top Secret preferred

Position Requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for a team of IT professionals to provide technical engineering subject matter expertise and technical engineering support services supporting the overall program initiatives, technical integration and application for the military service network technologies across the enterprise.
  • Ensure completeness and quality of all contract deliverables, customer requested work products, and technical engineering activities
  • Oversee enterprise network architectural analysis, to include Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), for feasibility, thoroughness, security, reliability and provide recommended action to the Government program management team
  • Oversee multiple multi-disciplinary teams to execute network/component installation, configuration, testing and integration, troubleshooting and corrective actions associated with classified and unclassified networks to meet defense agency project implementation/installation schedules.
  • Ensure Tier III network systems support for problem resolution to agreed upon Service Level Agreements with the customer agency.
  • Complete project management tasks for identifying, tracking, and coordinating implementation activities, with all project stakeholders within the specific customer-determined timelines pertaining to each project/task.
  • Oversee Internet Protocol (IP) Address management actions to effectively plan, manage, assign, allocate and redistribute IP (IPV4 and IPV6) address space.
  • Oversee Networking Operations and monitoring
  • Ensure completion of Integration Facility testing and deployment of information technology requirements.
  • Complete database systems administration, configuration management support to maintain, track and update the project database and server.
  • Perform systems engineering, technical analysis and provide architecture support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the IT intelligence communities and knowledge of intelligence communities’ policy and standards.
  • Apply a wide set of engineering disciplines to the planning, design, analysis, roll-out, and support of the defense agency network systems, lead and provide support to resolving issues with engineers, system administrators and other technical initiative owners.
  • Support the agency initiatives and assist Government and contractor engineering staff with development of a sound technical and financial approaches.
  • Provide technical analysis of sharing and safeguarding initiatives across IT systems.
  • Provide system engineering support, including technical systems engineering schematics, drawings and diagrams, as needed.
  • Act as senior leader responsible for the verification of feasibility and soundness of technical approaches.
  • Conduct Systems Engineering and Technical Reviews to validate requirements.
  • Perform requirements management and configuration control for the overall networking engineering program.
  • Review and coordinate the approval of Change Requests (CR).
  • Track technical architecture product sets and versions as they are defined
  • Assist in performing technical and security analysis, assessment, and evaluation of installed systems.
  • Review network diagrams
  • Review software and hardware for compliance.
  • Perform technical analysis and monitoring of security controls.
  • Perform development, analysis and technical recommendation of Security Architecture.
