Documentation Specialist- Reston VA., TS/SCI Full Scope Poly
LTS is seeking to expand existing capabilities by augmenting its automated data collection development team with additional skilled development support that are capable of co-locating with end-users to rapidly develop and operate proven and new techniques for data collection and transformation while operating within and contributing to corporate technical guidelines.
Work Requirements:
- The candidate shall interface directly with Sponsor management for requirements for data collection and digital identities for mission support.
- The candidate shall assist in the integration of data with existing platforms for correlation and analytical insights.
- The candidate shall provide coordination across Sponsor’s organization and business partners to expedite data sharing, processing and governance activities.
The candidate shall establish strategic objectives based on the Sponsor’s vision for the data collection platforms.
- The candidate shall assist to condition, coordinate, collect, and perform data transfer of complicated data sets for integration and analysis.
- The candidate shall manipulate both large and small datasets for real-time mission support.
- The candidate shall analyze new technologies, hardware, and software to determine the applicability and need in the existing or proposed system, to include security, storage, and network technology.
- The candidate shall work with users to identify and develop system requirements taking into account the desired results, hardware limitations and operating requirements, identified by the Sponsor.
- The candidate shall assist in planning and managing multiple projects involving the infrastructure and exploitation platforms.
- The candidate shall programmatically manage solutions for virtual operations.
- The candidate shall collect and manage requirements for planning and produce outcomes from virtual operational requirements.
- The candidate shall provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement of equipment and software for collection and exploitation.
- The candidate shall collect and exploit profile, content, or metadata information for mission support.
- The candidate shall evaluate data accessible in the public domain, including foreign social media websites and applications both from mobile and stationary platforms.
- The candidate shall perform end-to-end quality assurance of data.
- The candidate shall establish strategic objectives based on the Sponsor’s vision for the data collection platforms.
- The candidate shall assist in assessing, documenting, and tracking new program requirements and follow-on technical exchange meetings (TEMs).
- The candidate shall support tasks that require the collecting, compiling, evaluating and publishing of information and statistical data in documents, records, forms, reports, plans, policies, and regulations.
- The Contractor Team shall collect, ingest, and exploit large and small dataset collections.
- The Contractor Team shall provide field technical and operational support for data analysis, and may require some Temporary Duty travel.
Required skills and demonstrated experience:
The candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:
- Demonstrated experience with the ability to listen and transcribe from mission need to technical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience triaging and troubleshooting data issues.
- Demonstrated experience preparing task plans, task documentation, and overall activity reporting documents.
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience transferring and handling sensitive data.
- Demonstrated experience preparing task plans, task documentation, and overall activity reporting documents.
- Demonstrated experience working with other technical teams across multiple organizational boundaries, and ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Demonstrated experience documenting and communicating technical and non-technical mission requirements for all audiences.
- Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating program management process activities such as Program Reviews, Requirements Review Boards (RRB) and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling and facilitation of meetings and preparation of briefings and presentations.
- Demonstrated experience providing support such as technical writing and technical editing, integration of various sources into a cohesive product; preparation of graphical and narrative presentation material.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating project schedules, creating or distributing minutes and action items.
- Demonstrated experience tracking action items for successful completion.
- Demonstrated experience working with users to define requirements for analysts or operational customers.
