LTS is seeking a part-time healthcare kiosk courier with an exceptional driving record and a desire to be part of a network of small, dedicated teams supporting healthy communities across Mississippi. 

You will be part of a highly skilled team working in a dynamic environment that leverages automation and technology to deliver a net new healthcare solution for medical testing, harm reduction treatments, and preventative care. Your work will have a direct impact on addressing ongoing public health crises and will support vulnerable communities’ health needs.

LTS is seeking a Courier for the safe, timely transportation of specimens, supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to and from identified locations while meeting scheduled deadlines. Employees must work in compliance with LTS policies, procedures, professional standards, and program protocols. Proven reliability and attention to detail required. This position requires the personal use of a vehicle and cell phone.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Maintain effective communication with Local Leadership to support team success. 
  • Load, transport, and deliver items to internal and external clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. 
  • Support the delivery team's success by ensuring items are packaged and labeled correctly and safely delivered to the correct locations/clients. 
  • Submit daily collection reports.
  • Provide reliable service for kiosks and a positive customer experience in the field. 
  • Drive to designated specimen collection points (kiosks, drop boxes, or other physical sites) to retrieve samples using personal vehicle.
  • Package and deliver/ship test samples per standard operating procedures. 
  • Follow provided instructions to test functions at a kiosk to ensure it is working properly and provide information to the production team, as instructed.
  • Restock kiosks with test kits, as instructed.
  • Deliver or pickup supplies to and from designated locations.
  • Must follow all LTS safety, infection control, and professional protocols including, but not limited to, proper donning of Personal Protective Equipment while collecting samples.
  • Will be required to drive up to an hour radius of assigned area. 
  • Must follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading/unloading supplies. 
  • Must plan route with adequate time to meet identified shipping/delivery deadlines.  
  • Must have reliable transportation and mobile phone for use on the job. 
  • Must adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. 
  • Must report issues impacting service and/or customer satisfaction in real-time. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Basic computer and mobile device/phone skills
  • Flexibility to work on call.   
  • Ability to pass background check that includes clean driving record.  
  • Active driver’s license  
  • High school diploma or equivalent  
  • Proven reliability and attention to detail required.
  • Courier or customer service experience preferred but not required .
  • Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills     

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform job duties while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including mask and gloves in both indoor and outdoor settings. Ability to work inside and outside for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform job duties while standing, walking, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15-20lbs. and reach in all directions unassisted.
  • Ability to use lifting motion over and below waist from 15-20 lbs. without assistance .
  • Ability to use vision or corrective vision to determine depth perception and to discriminate between color coated objects.
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions, fine motor functions and maintain olfactory sensory functions .
  • Ability to work in a latex safe environment.
  • May be exposed to occupational dangers such as infectious diseases and outdoor inclement weather .
