Job Description:

LTS Health, a leader in healthcare kiosk production and deployment, seeks a skilled Assembly Technician for our Marietta, GA team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assembling complex components, ensuring each product meets our rigorous standards of excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Execute intricate assembly tasks by applying technical skills to build and integrate components into our healthcare kiosks.
  • Work closely with engineering and production leadership to enhance processes, solve issues, and drive improvements for better efficiency and product quality.
  • Engage actively in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and efforts to drive excellence in all aspects of production.
  • Adhere to company standards by conducting comprehensive inspections and implementing quality control measures, ensuring each product is dependable, efficient, & meets requirements.
  • Apply technical specifications, diagrams, and instructions for assembling components and systems, ensuring accuracy and precision in every task.
  • Perform regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  •  Support inventory functions, including stock counts, incoming & outgoing shipments, data entry and related activities.
  • Will require occasional off-site activities to installation sites, suppliers/vendors and other locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:         

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly, including experience with component integration.
  •  Experience using hand and power tools requiring precision
  • Fork-lift certification preferred or be willing to undergo forklift training and certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide internal and external updates and business related notes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to train and supervise others.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with inventory and cycle counting. 
  • Technical certification or vocational training in a related field. (preferred)
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques. (preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to work inside and outside for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform job duties while sitting, standing (90%), squatting, bend at the waist, kneel and walking for extended period of time. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35lbs., reach in all directions unassisted.  
  • Ability to use lifting motion over and below waist from 35lbs. without assistance. 
  • Ability to use vision or corrective vision to determine depth perception and to discriminate between color coated objects. 
  • Ability to perform gross motor functions, fine motor functions and maintain olfactory sensory functions. 
  • Ability to work in a latex safe environment.
  • May be exposed to infectious diseases and occupational dangers from handling sharp objects and mechanical rotating devices such as drills and miter saws.
