The Scoop:

The DDI Manager will coordinate all activities related to readying MedImpact’s systems and services solution for operational use. Responsibilities will commence during project start-up and will continue until the State accepts the solution for operational use.

 

What You Get To Do:

  • Scheduling and provisioning resources to accomplish the DOI
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks associated with DOI activities
  • Meeting with project personnel to provide business and technical advice in order to resolve problems
  • Developing project plans to fully document all business tasks, resources, and timelines to ensure that the project scope is fully defined
  • Providing project management and control. Conducting frequent status meeting to ensure timelines are being met
  • Ensuring that DOI milestones are achieved in accordance with the approved schedule
  • Reporting DOI status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participating in configuration control activities

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Education and/or Experience

For consideration candidates will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare, business administration or information technology related field, or four (4) years’ experience, in addition to the general requirement for five (5) year’s experience, will be a suitable substitute for the bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience implementing health care solutions within environments like the AMPP
  • Expert knowledge of MedImpact’s solution for the AMPP
  • Excellent communications skills, including writing skills, small group facilitation skills and formal presentation skills
  • Four plus years of direct, dedicated project managerial experience required

 

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office / Word, Excel PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience as an advanced user of multiple business software applications and working knowledge of key technical applications such as SQL, Oracle based platforms, and Golden 32
  • The ability to run SQL queries and scripts is helpful

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

PMP certification required or a comparable project management certifications.

Travel

This position requires travel up to 25% of the time.  Also, attendance maybe required at various local training sessions and/or meetings.
