The Scoop:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Vendor's solution and is directly responsible to the Project Account Manager to meet the service level agreements contained in the contract. The Operations Manager is the primary liaison between the State and MedImpact's business units providing services to the AMPP.

 

What You Get To Do:

·         Provides general management of MedImpact’s  services activities

·         Schedules and provisions resources, to include obtaining State approval for assigning individuals to positions within MedImpact’s  business units

·         Meeting all service level agreements and performance standards

·         Monitors and reports on  MedImpact’s  performance

·         Communicates issues or problems that impact the AMPP's ability to meet defined business goals

·         Collaborates with internal leaders  for problem solving, planning and successful outcomes

·         Provides oversight of projects and client initiatives and assist in the interpretation and context of client requests

·         Provide support to matters escalated by the client team

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory  responsibilities.

 

Education and/or Experience

For consideration candidates will need:

·         PharmD with a valid Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing is preferred

·         If not a licensed Pharmacist, must have equivalent experience and knowledge to manage a pharmacy account or possess a Bachelor's degree in a health care related discipline and have equivalent experience

·         Have five years' experience managing Vendor pharmacy responsibilities, including:

o   Managing pharmacy staff

o   Completing status reports

o   Identifying and presenting recommendations for program improvement

·         Must have excellent communications skills, writing skills, small group facilitation skills and formal presentation skills.

 

Computer Skills

Intermediate to advanced skill set in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Registered Pharmacist in the State of Arkansas preferred.

 

Travel

This position may require domestic travel up to 35% of the time, with little or no advance notice and depending on client contractual requirements.
