Embedded Video Engineer
Description
Piper Enterprise Solutions is looking for an Embedded Video Engineer for a growing and exciting company located in Bethesda MD. The company works with groundbreaking products that have won numerous security industry awards and made them a recognized pioneer in Security as a Service. The Embedded Engineer will be helping develop the product from the ground up. The Embedded Engineer will be helping develop video products that capture large amounts of data for storage and playback of video streams. The Video Engineer will be able to build a commercial applications targeting end users, and for mobile, and embedded devices.
Technical Requirements:
- +4 years of video related, embedded software programming experience
- Experience developing embedded products with C/C++ for server side applications
- Knowledge of codecs and storage, as well as playback of video code streams as a service
- Must understand video delivery protocols: TRSP, TRP, HLS, H264
- Knowledge of using ffmpeg or an equivalent product as a tool and as an API
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar field of study
95,000-120,000 + health, dental, vision, 401k, commuter reimbursement
