Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for a Backup Engineer to support a government agency located in Ballston, VA with an award winning defense contractor. The Backup Engineer will be responsible for configuration, maintenance, and support of the backup technology infrastructure for the customer.

 

A good candidate for the Backup Engineer position MUST possess the following:

  • 5 years of experience with various backup tools and technologies
  • Proficiency with some combination of the following: NetBackup, Quantum, EMC Data Domain, NetApp, or Brocade
  • Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN network configurations
  • Any storage certifications are a plus

 

Salary Range:   $100,000 - $110,000
