Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently seeking a Backup Engineer to support our client on a government site in Arlington, Virginia. The Backup Engineer will be responsible for participating in key projects deploying, expanding and updating existing backup technology. The Backup Engineer will also be expected to have experience utilizing Symantec NetBackup, EMC Data Domain and/or Brocade SAN switches. All candidates MUST be eligible for a Public Trust security clearance.  

 

The ideal candidate MUST possess the following:

  • 5+ years of professional experience utilizing backup technologies such as NetBackup, Brocade, NetApp or EMC Data Domain
  • Experience working within Linux and Windows 2003/2008/2012 environments
  • Familiarity with either Perl of Shell scripting languages
  • ITIL Foundation certification is a plus
  • MUST be eligible for a Public Trust clearance

 

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 with benefits, PTO and signing bonus
