Applications Security Engineer

Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for an Application Security Engineer to support a large financial institution in Chantilly, VA. The Application Security Engineer will be responsible for establishing vulnerability analysis capability as well as application security from the ground up. This will entail suggesting hardware/software and developing policies and procedures to best maintain the security infrastructure of the client's applications.

A good candidate for the Application Security Engineer MUST possess the following:

• At least 8 years of overall IT experience, preferably within security
• Ability to install and configure vulnerability scanning software such as Nessus, Retina, etc.
• Application security tool experience: HP Web Inspect, AppScan, Hale Storm, or Checkmarx
• Familiarity with any of the following languages: C, C++, Perl, Java, or Intel x86
• Experience with static code analysis

Salary Range:    $135,000 - $150,000
