Cybersecurity Analyst

Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for the Cybersecurity Analyst role for a high-profile government contractor in Germantown, MD. The Cybersecurity Analyst should have knowledge of forensic media analysis and in-depth diagnosis of network intrusions. The Cybersecurity Analyst will analyze, discover, map, and protect vulnerabilities and threats in network systems. A good candidate for the Cybersecurity Analyst position MUST possess the following:

• Experience working with Incident Response with threat actors and ongoing pervasive intrusion sets
• Provided Network Security Monitoring support
• Experience performing “deep dive” analysis
• Experience utilizing Incident Response Operations
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking
• Administrator level knowledge of OS basics
• Full understanding of Intrusion Detection and Prevention from both the network and host levels
• Understanding of IDPS (Snort, Bro, Fire Eye) and tools (tcpdump, Wireshark, nmap)
• Must be  U.S. Citizen
• Must attain an active TS/DOE Q clearance

Salary: $105,000 - $110,000
