Enterprise Java Developer

Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is currently looking for an Enterprise Java Developer to support a very cutting-edge geospatial software company located in Reston, VA. The company is known for developing three proprietary software systems that allow for processing and manipulation of massive imagery and metadata sets. The Enterprise Java Developer will be responsible building, enhancing, and creating new commercial products and core technologies in an Agile environment.

A good candidate for the Enterprise Java Developer position MUST possess the following:

• 7+ years of full life cycle development experience using Java
• Proficiency working with Restful web services and APIs
• Knowledge of Big Data and open source technologies such as NoSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Experience with unit testing through technologies such as JUnit
• Agile project experience and an ability to work in a collaborative environment

Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000
