General Manager of Customer IT Products

Piper Enterprise Solutions is looking to fill a position for a General Manager of IT Products in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (NC) area. The GM of IT Products will be responsible for working with our Business and IT constituents to lead the development and execution of our integrated product strategy for Information System Products and Information Analytics Products.  With P&L responsibility, this role must ensure that our products target revenue generation within our core laboratory testing business as well as other revenue generating opportunities.  They will also  be responsible for understanding Customer demands in a rapidly changing market by interacting with Customers and Business leaders in order to ensure that we create effective Product Roadmaps.  Qualifications and requirements for the GM of IT Products are:

• 15+ years of leading teams that provide technology products to Customers (experience in the Reference Laboratory or Healthcare industry is a strong preference).

• This person must come from a background in managing 100-300 people.

• Experience P&L manager with demonstrated experience on revenue generation and cost controls.

• Previous experience managing third party service providers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and customer satisfaction requirements.

• Extensive knowledge and experience on a wide array of technology topics.

• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks under time constraints while dealing with people in an effective and diplomatic manner.

• Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

• Bachelor degree in Business Management or Information Technology (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000. Total compensation will be determined by relevant work experience and recent salary history. This is a direct-hire opportunity. A full comprehensive benefits package will be included in an offer of employment.
