Dev Ops Engineer

Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer for an award winning software organization in Durham, North Carolina (Durham, NC).  The Dev Ops Engineer will be an integral member of a very talented medium size Dev Ops team.  The Dev Ops team will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest technologies and tools to help build tools, processes, and automation to deliver highly available cloud services and solutions.  A successful candidate for the Dev Ops Engineer will have configuration management tool experience, a solid Linux administration background in addition to an understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts and best practices.

This is a direct placement opportunity.

Requirements for the Dev Ops Engineer include the following:

• Strong Object Oriented knowledge of concepts and best practices
• 2 plus years of configuration management experience with tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, SaltStack
• 2 plus years of Linux experience
• Cloud (AWS) experience is highly preferred
• Strong written and communications skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field experience

Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.  Depends on experience
