Big Data Project Manager

Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Big Data Project Manager for a world class corporation in Raleigh, North Carolina (Raleigh, NC).  The Big Data Project Manager will oversee big data platform projects including the project scope, developing project plans, and overseeing the project deadlines and fulfillment. A successful candidate for the Big Data Project Manager will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of audiences.  The Big Data Project Manager must have prior experience managing projects related to big data, data warehousing, or business intelligence.  

This is a contract opportunity

Requirements for the Big Data Project Manager include the following:

• 4 plus years of professional project management experience; 2 plus years of experience managing big data, data warehouse, or business intelligence related projects
• Familiarity and knowledge of big data, data warehouse, and business intelligence technologies.  Hadoop is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree preferred or related field experience

Compensation: $45-70/hr with a comprehensive benefits package.  Depends on experience
