Description

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Configuration Manager to support one of the largest social science research organizations in the world in Washington, DC. The Configuration Manager will collaborate with technical architects, software development teams, a QA team, and system administrators to streamline the source management, build, and deploy processes while introducing automation where appropriate. 

 

A good candidate for the Configuration Manager role MUST possess the following:

  • 7+ years of Configuration Management Experience
  • Experience working with deployment scripts and system deployment documentation
  • Experience developing automation scripts through Perl, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, or Shell Scripts
  • Expertise with distributed version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion
  • Ability to demonstrate implementation of Microsoft SQL Server artifacts
  • BA/BS Required, Master's Degree preferred

Salary: $110,000 - $120,000
