Application Developer

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Application Developer to work as part of a company that is a global leader in networking in Raleigh / Durham area. The Application Developer will be part of the development team that will be working on various projects with their government customers. The ideal Application Developer will have 3+ years of experience in Java application development and design, including J2EE. The Application Developer should understand object-oriented programming, the SDLC and design patterns. The Application Developer should also have experience with web servers like Tomcat, Weblogic, or Websphere and have experience with XML, Groovy/Grails and/or Oracle databases.

Requirements for the Application Developer include the following:                                                                          

• 3+ years’ experience with Java application design and developement (J2EE/JavaScript)
• Experience with the web servers (Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere), XML, Groovy/Grails, Oracle databases
• Experience with Linux
• Must be a US Citizen

Compensation for the Application Developer: This is a long-term contract position. $40/hr - $60/hr depending on previous experience and compensation.

Location of the Application Developer: Raleigh, NC
