4. Sarasota County makes every effort to accommodate individual preferences. However, work needs, County emergency preparedness (such as hurricanes), and schedule changes may make the following conditions mandatory: overtime, shift work, a rotating work schedule, a work schedule other than Monday though Friday, job reassignments, and locations.

5. Successful completion of a DUI background check to determine job related eligibility may be required for certain positions. Employment offers to successful candidates are conditional.
