Job Overview

The AV/IT Executive Support Technician plays a pivotal role in providing day-to-day support for programs and events hosted at the center. Technicians are responsible for setting up, maintaining, and shutting down the centers based on the operating schedule, ensuring a professional environment for clients and staff during events and off-hours. They collaborate closely with stakeholders and the Operations Manager to ensure proper coverage and scheduling of events and programs.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Provide onsite support for visitors and executive-level events
• Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions
• Ability to support and communicate with executive-level clients (and higher)
• Perform daily inspection and regular maintenance of hardware and software for the internal platform
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance on all hardware
• Diagnose network problems impacting one or many internal platform applications
• Utilize remote access for Mac, Linux, and Windows systems to control the internal platform (via SSH, VNC; navigate file systems on remote machines)
• Collaborate with Client Engineers to troubleshoot difficult internal problems
• Write AppleScript and bash scripts; JavaScript and Python skills are a plus
• Adept in Technical Documentation
• Ability to meet and exceed service deadlines
• Work with the internal ticketing system

 

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Familiarity with Android and iOS
• Experience working in video production or post-production
• Basic understanding of video streaming methodologies, including RTMP, HLS, SRT, WebRTC
• Experience with G-Suite, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx

Estimated Pay Range:   Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
