Cost Allocation Accountant
Diversified Services Network Inc. (DSN) is seeking a consultant with a strong background in Accounting, Auditing, and Governmental Accounting. MUST HAVE actual experience preparing and achieving federal approval of indirect cost allocation plans (DICAP) for both Counties and State Agencies. Federal administrative claiming experience with entitlement programs (Title IV-E & Title XIX) a plus and experience developing direct administrative claiming plans (PACAP) for state human services agencies also a plus.
Responsibilities:
Create Cost Allocation Plans (CAP) for government entities
Analyze cost of government entities operations
Gather Financial Information for clients to prepare analysis and report of clients’ operations
Participate in client meetings
Understand Title Grants from the federal government
Required Skills:
2-8+ years of accounting with government experience essential
Experience with Excel
Cost accounting experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Desirable: CPA
