Pump Operator
General Description
· Rigging equipment.
· Frequent walking up and down stairs, climbing ladders, and picking up hoses.
· Checking out equipment, assisting crew with operations with equipment, and assisting Pump Operator.
· Make sure operation runs smoothly with open communications between Supervisors and Managers.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
· Communicate with the Supervisor making sure the job is carried out, as per regulations.
COMPETENCIES:
· Must be willing to learn and follow the directions of experienced employees.
· Can Work 24 Hour Callout Schedule.
· Valid Driver's License or State issued I.D.
· Good Driving Record.
· Must Satisfy Homeland Security Requirements Regarding Background Checks.
· Must Comply with Drug & Alcohol Testing Requirements/Policy.
TRAINING
Must Complete Safety Training (Including Water Survival).
EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum one (1) year experience as a supervisor in plug and abandonment operations, drilling operations, or workover operations.
· Must be knowledgeable in e-line and slick line operations.
SKILLS:
Fluent in both verbal and written English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Medium work- Lifting of 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Must have good depth perception and peripheral vision, and average hearing.
· Must be able to stand for long periods with occasional sitting.
· Must be able to drive on occasion.
· Position requires repetitive grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, finger dexterity, and foot movement.
Position requires frequent bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and reaching.
