The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is Hong Kong’s statutory body for promoting Hong Kong’s trade with the world. Its overseas branch office in New York is inviting applications for the following position:
Assistant Administration Manager (on-site position at our New York office)
Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa such as a H-1B, TN, or O visa. We do not support or provide training for STEM/OPT programs.
Key Responsibilities
A) Accounting duties:
- to ensure payments and journal entries are in accordance with corporate guidelines
- reconcile monthly bank statement and payroll data
- to ensure the Financial Guidelines are properly followed and executed
B) Regional administrative duties:
- Semi-annual filing of the Foreign Agents Registration Act
- Medical insurance: staff enrolment/termination (annual enrolment exercise)
- Pension: staff enrolment/termination/monthly statements/quarterly reports and annual census
- Visa & related issues for expatriate staff
C) General administrative and office managerial duties of NYO and HK Centre. (includes working with building maintenance and third-party service providers to keep the building operational)
Job Requirements
Remuneration and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in the range of USD65,000 – 70,000 p.a. Competitive compensation package will be offered to the right candidate.
