Job Summary:
The R&O Contract Administrator resolves issues affecting customer satisfaction for the assigned customer sets and manages all Repair Contracts and Orders. They act as primary Customer Contact for all Repair & Overhaul Work in Process.
Essential Functions:
Review customer contracts/requirements on incoming orders
Enter and manage order fulfillment transactions for all assigned customers or products. Verify PO requirements are consistent with standard terms and conditions and/or specific customer contractual requirements. Write work instructions; enter work order in system; Contact customers regarding discrepancies, order parts if necessary
Order parts, request quotes, enter and maintain sales order information in Oracle system. Change dates in R&O tracking system, if applicable. Determine export requirements
Complete all applicable shipping paperwork for the shippers, including FAA 8130-3 tag, Assembly of shipping packet, including any additional customer requirements
Support Planning and R&O Manager in the forecasting of parts to maintain in stock for support of contractual TATs and customer satisfaction. Review and interpret Crane Aerospace forecasting/consumption report, in support of the demand management process, to efficiently and effectively manage customer demand
Interface with internal support organizations and R&O Manager/Supervisor to assure requirements are met with respect to improving business metrics (OTD, TAT, etc.). Manage and understand shortages, working with necessary support areas to fill shortages and understand root cause
Take an active role in the improvement of the R&O and Aftermarket Organization, including participation in the company sponsored Continuous Improvement Activities as well as other training opportunities
Establish, develop and maintain good customer relationships; understand and communicate current and future customer needs and expectations throughout Crane Aerospace, and act effectively as the customer advocate
Coordinate with the customer and internal functional teams to assist in the resolution of invoice collection issues
Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management
Non-Essential Functions:
On a limited basis, may act as back-up to R&O Manager/Supervisor in the delegation of work to Hourly Workforce in his/her absence
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: Administrative capabilities required
Knowledge: General Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access); Familiarity with Oracle operating system highly desirable; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to delegate duties to hourly employees in absence of Manager R&O
Skills: General internet skills with knowledge of Internet commerce
Abilities: Demonstrated ability to interpret customer purchase orders, contracts or other contractual correspondence; Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make decisions in a timely and appropriate manner; Ability to manage across functional interfaces; Ability to maintain composure under stress; Ability to work as a team player within the Crane Aerospace order management team
Education/Certification: Associate’s Degree in Business (Admin.); or equivalent experience required.
