JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager will locate, pursue, and develop strategic, key and target account business within geographical area/or within Industrial and Oil and Gas industries. He/she will promote all products in the Barksdale portfolio and create new business development opportunities consistent with account plan. The Regional Sales Manager will also ensure to meet sales objectives for each account to maintain profitable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in sales including OEM experience.
Bachelor of Science in Technical field preferred, College degree or equivalent required.
Knowledge of Sales and marketing principles, concepts, methods and practices
Proficiency in PC software programs
Ability to manage at all levels in large Strategic Accounts
Ability to develop and successfully execute strategic plans against sales forecast
Ability and experience in dealing with multiple large and complex projects illustrating project management capabilities
Plan, organize, manage, coordinate, train and evaluate the work of sales and distribution personnel
Must be able to interact with customers, sales and purchasing representatives, sales and marketing management, customers, distributors and others
Detail Oriented
Salary range: $90,000to $110,000 with 30% bonus potential. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Compensation packages also include comprehensive benefits, 401K contribution and match, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement and more. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs”
