Position Summary:
Responsible to greet all visitors in a professional manner & ensure proper visitor sign-in procedure is completed; answers main phoneline and directs calls to the appropriate party. This position is responsible for constant support to Human Resources and Site functions in various projects and activities as needed.
Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):
· Professionally answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
· Greets visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
· Plans, manages, organizes, and communicates special projects and events. This may include employee recognition programs, retirements, training, employee wellness and benefit events, philanthropy, and associate communication etc.
· Processes associate reimbursements such as safety shoe, prescription safety glasses, and travel expenses.
· Manages office / first aid supplies and orders as necessary.
· Maintains associate communication boards and updates appropriately.
· Updates and maintains employee training records.
· Reviews and records hours worked for temporary employees.
· Continually improves existing processes and/or procedures to meet the changing needs of the business.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
· High School diploma
· Strong knowledge of MS Office.
· Tact, above average communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both associates and visitors.
· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
· Well organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
· Maintain confidentiality with personal identifiable information.
· Exercises sound judgment and discretion in the collection and dissemination of information; ensures that highly sensitive, proprietary, and confidential information is released only to those authorized.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
· Associate’s degree
· Experience with Excel.
Minimum of one year customer service experience.
