How you will make an impact:

You will play a vital role in a product authentication manufacturing business by ensuring the efficient management and availability of critical spare parts and materials. By maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering components, and coordinating with suppliers, this role directly supports the smooth operation of engineering and maintenance activities. Your adherence to safety and compliance standards, along with their involvement in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, enhances the overall reliability and efficiency of production processes. You will provide technical support and manage stock turn data ensures that the business can meet its production schedules and maintain high-quality standards. Overall, you will help sustain the operational excellence and security of the manufacturing process.

• Implement and support new systems for better management of critical spare parts.
• Undertake the day-to-day running of the engineering stores in consultation with the engineering team.
• Issue and retrieve orders via SAGE, considering RPN and stock level KPIs.
• Order components and materials from suppliers, check received goods, and process related documentation.
• Maintain store stock levels and conduct periodic stock audits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security policies.
• Support the engineering function on specialized tasks and projects, and liaise with maintenance engineers for proper parts description and communication with OEM.
• Embrace Lean Manufacturing, Total Productive Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement principles, and adhere to company guidelines, policies, and values.
   

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required: 

• Must have minimum 2 years related experience
• Language proficiency: English C1 or higher.
• Well versed in the use of well known office applications, e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
• Work without supervision 

Preferred: 

• Engineering related courses
• Experience in any engineering field
• Working knowledge of SAGE purchasing module.

Your role is in Malta, Ħal Far. Ħal Far is the largest industrial estate in Malta. It is at the southern extreme of Malta, between the localities of Birżebbuġa , Safi and Żurrieq.
