CBIZ is seeking a Senior IT Analyst to support our Property and Casualty Insurance division, who will work closely with key business and IT teams to optimize the use of technology and data. 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

• Serve as a technical point of contact for operational leaders
• Architects technical solutions
• Streamlines and enhances business processes using available tools
• Evaluates and facilitates new technology requests
• Work in a hands-on manner with internal stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs and strategies
• Works with the business to standardize data and implement business intelligence solutions
• Works with business teams in a variety of capacities executing technology initiatives such as:
• Application implementation
• Application upgrades
• Application integrations
• Data and Analytics
• Process automation
• Executes and coordinates technical tasks related to the ongoing support and management of technology platforms
• Works with business and IT leadership to prioritize technology initiatives
• Works business teams to outline business and functional requirements for technology initiatives
• Works with business and IT leaders on continuous process improvement efforts in the support and management of technology platforms
• Manages application upgrades, enhancements and support initiatives

Preferred Requirements:

• Technologically savvy and curious
• Detail oriented and organized
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage a workload of operational support and project level work
• Ability to distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
• Problem solving skills
• Experience with application integration
• Experience creating business intelligence solutions
• Knowledge of common data standards and governance practices
• Experience supporting and managing on premise and cloud-based applications
• Experience working in an Insurance Agency/Brokerage and with relevant applications such as an Agency Management system
• Sagitta system and other Property and Casualty experience is a plus
• Experience working with external vendors

Minimum Requirements:

• College Degree or equivalent required
• 3 years related experience
• Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Ability to execute and draft technical instructions and guidelines
• Ability to document daily activities and system functions
• Able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an
organization, both internally and externally
• Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
