Job Overview

The AV Technician will be responsible for ensuring that day to day AV Operations are running like clockwork. You will be responsible for vendor management, resolving hardware/software faults with AV systems, daily sweeps of conference rooms, event support and special projects.

  • Own day to day operations of AV, including logistic coordination of vendors Monitor break/fix requests and ticketing
  • Maintain deployment of AV fleet, and own update timetables
    • iPads
    • Crestron Panels
    • AV operated Apple Computers
  • Educate end users on AV best practices
  • Support live events and incoming event requests
  • Serve as an escalation point to helpdesk/IT Technician(s)
  • Proactively create and monitor system health dashboards across various AV services
  • Work cross functionally with Helpdesk technicians in remote offices to coordinate testing and support of AV systems

Required Skills:

  • HS Diploma or GED 
  • 2+ years working with video conferencing hardware and familiar with standard platforms: Google Meet, Zoom, BlueJeans, Teams
  • 2+ years actively working in an environment where live productions were common
  • Working knowledge of: Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides
  • Customer service oriented
  • Familiar with products from Extron, Crestron, BiAmp, ClearOne, Revolabs, Shure, Google
  • Experience using live streaming video platforms such as Ustream
  • Understanding of audio/video wiring, including cable limitations
  • Computer troubleshooting experience
  • A love of problem-solving and creating awesome, elegant solutions

Estimated Pay Range:   Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
