About the position

Work environment is an important part of Crane AB's operations. The task of the work environment specialist is, among other things, to support the business in work environment issues and ensure that the business meets legal requirements, customer requirements and other requirements, such as certification requirements.

 

The role includes ensuring that Crane AB plans and implements continuous improvements to the working environment in accordance with the company's strategy and priorities Safety-Security-Sustainability, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDCG), with Safety being the highest priority.

Responsabilities

 

• Interpret laws, regulations and standards in the field and apply them by developing concrete procedures and instructions
• Leading the organization in the daily work environment management via the respective department and group managers
• Organize and follow up on work environment audits
• Plan and, if necessary, carry out investigations, workplace assessments and risk & opportunity analyses in the field of work environment
• Be involved in development work and continuous improvement for the area of responsibility
• Follow up on incidents, accidents and risks and other relevant key figures that guide the business health and safety focus
• Initiate, plan and ensure the implementation of training courses in the field of work environment
• Keep up to date in the field of work environment and relevant work environment certification
• Plan and, where necessary, carry out health and safety surveys and analyze the results
• Participate in the work of the Chemicals Group
• Ensure good relations with trade unions, authorities, suppliers, and other relevant parties
• Conduct ongoing work; assignments and projects according to Crane AB's policies and management system

Qualifications

 

Education:

A university degree or diploma in the field of work environment

 

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in work environment management in industry

 

Language:

Swedish and English in speech and writing

 

IT:

Good knowledge of the Office package and, practical experience of working in Sharepoint

 

Other:

Well versed in current health and safety legislation

 

Merits:

LEAN / Six Sigma , Management & Environment management experience
