Why Denver Musuem of Nature & Science?

With exhibits featuring everything from dinosaur bones to Egyptian mummies, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science inspires learning in the young and young-at-heart. Pre-COVID we welcomed over 2.3 million visitors. We currently have 400 employees and over 1800 volunteers who are dedicated to serving our community, 7 days per week and 364 days per year.

While the days may be busy and our plates get full, the benefits of working in the Museum are multi-fold. How many places can you go upstairs and talk to a T-Rex about your stressful day? Or pick up Astronaut freeze-dried ice cream from the gift shop? Have a conversation with one of our amazing employees who do: scientific research, keep the museum clean, sell tickets, create culinary experiences for special events, to name just a few. The variety of people you build relationships with, make this a truly incredible place to work.

Our Culture:

We want people who demonstrate our core values: a curiosity and passion for science, a belief and desire to protect the natural world, thinking critically and acting with empathy, and cultivating relationships with everyone you come in contact with, including our greater community.

We pride ourselves on our customer service.  We want people who are committed to our success in delivering quality of service to our guests, teammates, and community.

We strive to be a diverse and collaborative team – a team of people from different backgrounds, identities and experiences who are open to being inspired, challenged and changed by one another.  Visit www.dmns.org to learn more.
