Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a FP&A Finance Manager. The position can be based in any of our US Crane Currency locations (Dalton, MA; Nashua, NH; Alpharetta, GA) with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

How you will make an impact:

Do you want to be a key team player with the fastest growing currency supplier in the world? The Manager of FP&A will be an individual with a high level of integrity and a strong focus on work accuracy and financial leadership. Excellent attention to detail, as well as experience in financial reporting, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, cost and pricing, planning and control are critical to success in this role.

• Provide financial analysis and guidance to the Global Currency business unit.
• Provide recommendations to senior business leaders to mitigate financial risks and suggest improvements to maximize operating profit.
• Drive a culture of financial awareness and prudent spending based on business needs while ensuring proper account and budget alignment.
• Prepare financial reports to measure manufacturing performance and drive improved financial results.
• Prepare the monthly President Performance Report (PPR).
• Own the budget and forecast process, including analysis, for the Currency headquarters ledger.
• Provide support as needed in the following areas: customer audits, internal audits, ISO certification audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement (CI) through executing the CI finance roadmap and utilizing the Crane Business System (CBS).
• Research, analyze, interpret & summarize data to report on performance, value, key variance, and trends to ensure financial consistency.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a financial role
• Strong Microsoft Office software skills - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Intellectual capacity as evidenced by strategic vision and strong analytical skills.
• Up to 10% travel. Willingness and capability to travel freely domestically and internationally to attend company meetings, vendor presentations, technical seminars, or any other event off-site or at other locations as required to meet the requirements of this position.

Preferred:

• Experience in a FP&A focused position.
• Knowledge of accounting and business software, including J.D. Edwards, Business Objects, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI and/or Hyperion (HFM) Software.
• US Government contracting regulation experience (FAR & CAS)
• Experience with Cash Flow Forecasting.
