Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for Commercial Sales Director. Based out of the Americas Region.

How you will make an impact:

Your role is critical to the fulfillment of our Purpose, “We give confidence every day in moments that matter.” Countries around the world need confidence in their currency and you will facilitate relationships with current and future customers that help them bring the latest security technology to their citizens. You will work closely with Heads of State, Central Banks, and Foreign Ministers to understand their needs to package together solutions that exceed their expectations. Apply your ability to develop long-lasting partnerships to help expand the business in ways that are best for the customer.

  • Manage and lead the sales activities for short and long terms prospects through negotiation and closing of business.
  • Make long-term strategic and short-term tactic plan for the region and mentor the RSD to plan for each targeted prospect/customer.
  • Provide information to Salesforce and Sales Forecast
  • Participate in and actively contribute to Sales Meetings and industry events and conferences (Banknote Conference, Currency Conference, regional conferences).
  • Initiate and contribute to marketing events needed to drive sales in the region.
  • Analyze, plan, and solve problems from a strategic perspective and contribute to an effective decision making for Sales department and for Crane Currency. To draw up goals and evaluate performance to ensure alignment with responsibilities and goals. 
  • Ensure an effective organization structure, optimally staffed with a trained and motivated workforce for the region.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • B.S. or B.A. degree in business and/or technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the banknote industry.
  • Experience in sales on the banknote market.
  • Deep knowledge of technology and manufacturing of banknote production.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Fluent in MS office programs, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, outlook as well as experience in Salesforce.

Preferred:

  • Proven experience working within a dynamic sales team in the currency branch.
  • Familiarity with Central Banking working infrastructure.
  • Preferred knowledge in Miller Heiman / Korn Ferry Sell methodology.
  • Reside in the LATAM region.

Remote – Your role is remote. You will be based out of your home office and travel to our sites when it is necessary.
