This role supports the Compliance department and general operations for the MCMHB.  The role will require significant multi-tasking, with attention to detail, prioritization and efficiency. Role will also require interfacing with staff and external individuals as required. 


LOCATION:  Mental Health Board, Crystal Lake

HOURS:   Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 37.50 hours per week




  • Review provider monthly service data using data validation software as appropriate. Identify billing discrepancies.

  • Assist Contract & Grant Lifecycle Monitor in the processing of affidavits and recording funding utilization.

  • Develops and maintains compliance related databases, spreadsheets, web-based applications and tracking logs as directed.

  • Assist Deputy Director in conducting compliance audits, to include service data preparation, reviewing clinical, HR, and other operations records onsite at Network providers, assist in audit report preparation and follow up.

  • Compose correspondence under general direction or on own initiative to expedite the processing and completion of an assignment.

  • Assist in the development of quality assurance and outcomes reports for decision making purposes.

  • Assist with monitoring, updating, and maintaining policies (currently on Policy Tech software).

  • Maintain electronic records & hard copies of occurrence/risk management reports.

  • Conduct and Document periodic safety drills.

  • Create, monitor and maintain Records Inventory schedule

  • Provide response for medical records requests (paper or digital media).

  • Facilitate Clinical Review meetings when requested by Network Providers

  • Facilitates Medication voucher




Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required – Masters (QMHP) preferred

Experience: 3-4 years of responsible human services experience with some experience in maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and web-based applications.  Proficient with Microsoft Office.

License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and certificate of current auto insurance.
