Position Summary:

The National Life Group Bed & Breakfast Hospitality Manager is a highly visible role, which demands excellent hospitality skills.  The ideal candidate will be incredibly friendly, customer centric, and have fun in a team environment.  This role includes leading a team, and working side by side to ensure all accommodations and public areas of the inn are presented to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, delivering great customer service, and maximizing guest satisfaction.  The manager supports, where requested, in meetings and events at the Guest House.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  leading the housekeeping team, inspiring a high level of achievement in cleanliness, and executing delicious breakfasts.  Ensures that health and safety policies are adhered to and accurate housekeeping records are kept with regard to occupancy, housekeeping and kitchen needs for the efficiency of the establishment.

 

Key Responsibilities:               

  • Ensures white-glove service through hospitality for guests.
  • Supervises team at the corporate guest house, providing ongoing training to NLG standards.
  • Manage inventory with technology to maximize occupancy and service levels.
  • Assists in execution of any events or meetings at the guest house.
  • Clean and organize rooms, maintaining high standards in an effective manner.  Includes replacing linens, removing trash, dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas of the inn, including living room, den, dining room, and meeting space at the inn.
  • Prepares hot or cold breakfast items as assigned.
  • Serves breakfast in the dining room to in-house guests.
  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.  Communicates with supervisor on a timely basis of any updates/maintenance needs or supplies.
  • Follows all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.
  • Become CPR trained.

 

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and hospitality skills
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other platforms
  • Excellent at multi-tasking
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Physical demands include lifting/moving objects up to 25 pounds.

 

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Hospitality Training or Degree
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license

 

This role is not open to applicants residing or otherwise based in Colorado and cannot be performed in Colorado.
