Position Summary:

Responsible for proactively analyzing claim data to track and monitor all issues and to assign any suspected issues to proper teams to be investigated in an
automotive manufacturing environment. This position involves continuous collaboration with responsible teams and affiliates to ensure Hyundai’s Safety-Quality
standards are met by all parties involved in the manufacturing of our vehicles. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide production process and torque audit results to the related department; follow-up on the improvement activities.
  • Validate the countermeasure from supplier or other HMMA department to ensure proper preventative measures have been placed for the issue.
  • Provide a report of VPC audit results from the top claim list.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of Quality Assurance (QA) safety quality project plans to measure appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and effectiveness for
    meeting department and HMMA goals.
  • Maintain the process audit result master list for issue and improvement follow-up.
  • Prepare meeting presentation materials for VIP/VVIP visitors.
  • Support QA coordinator with tasks requiring Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) response.
  • Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management
    System (SMS) requirements.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Related Experience:

  • 0 – 10 years job related experience preferred. 

Skills / Knowledge:

  • MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint 

Additional Information:

Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign). Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift. Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
