About the Position

TeraRecon is looking for an experienced, reliable, and organized accounting professional to become a valuable contributor to our Finance team. The Senior Accountant position will be fully responsible for multiple accounting processes while also providing support to the overall finance team. These many tasks and responsibilities will require attention to detail and effective communication with multiple departments and different levels of management.

The position is a based in our Durham, NC headquarters.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage consolidation and intercompany process
  • Analyze, monitor, and reconcile bank and other select balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset records and the related property taxes
  • Manage lease accounting and deferred rent
  • Assist with other month-end close responsibilities and the annual audit
  • Ensure processes, policies, and procedures are documented and updated in a timely manner
  • Develop productive and effective working relationships with other departments throughout the company
  • Aid in additional projects and tasks as assigned to support the Finance team in accomplishing its goals

 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of financial accounting experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • ERP experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Effective professional communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite experience is a plus

 

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance

 

Salary:  Depending on qualifications and experience.
