As part of the recruitment process, Vancouver Airport Authority (“VAA”) collects and processes job applicants’ personal information in a variety of ways, including from resumes, references, and this online application system.

VAA is committed to keeping your personal information secure and we will only share your personal information for the purposes of the recruitment process. This may include disclosing your personal information to members of our human resources department and the recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, and to third parties as necessary (e.g. background checks, industrial assessments).

If your application for employment is unsuccessful, VAA will destroy your personal information as part of our regular data disposal process.

If your application for employment is successful, the personal information and documents you submit in the application process will be placed in your employee records file and will be retained during your employment with VAA and for a reasonable period of time following the end of your employment.
