JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Dean is administratively responsible for assuring the highest quality of academic programs and student services. The Associate Dean is responsible for the academic integrity of the College of Nursing and Public Health’s (CNPH) programs. The Associate Dean supports faculty in their teaching and research. The Associate Dean promotes a student body that represents diversity and academic excellence, advances innovative pedagogy, fosters an environment that supports student achievement, and retention, and provides leadership in curricula and new program development, implementation, evaluation, and accreditation. This position supports faculty development and leadership development of programmatic Chairs and directors. The Associate Dean is a key member of the Dean's leadership team and will provide strategic insight and assist the Dean and Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in developing the annual Strategic Plan and setting College and institutional goals

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000. Adelphi University considers factors such as departmental budgets, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. An annual base salary higher than the range may be warranted in circumstances where a candidate has demonstrable equivalent prior higher education experience at another University.
