ECODIT seeks applications for various long- and short-term positions for the anticipated five-year USAID/Cambodia Localization Support Activity. The primary purpose of the Activity is to provide USAID/Cambodia with technical, logistical, and advisory services to support the Mission’s increasing localization programming. Primary services under the Activity will cover the following three categories: support for Mission staff to improve local partnership; monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL); and capacity strengthening for local actors. These services will assist the Mission in contributing to the Agency’s localization agenda and indicators. ECODIT seeks qualified Cambodian nationals with relevant work experience and currently living in Cambodia to support a range of activities over the life of the Activity, per the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, international relations, sustainable development, public or business administration, or another relevant field. Advanced degree preferred;
  • A minimum of five years of experience leading or supporting donor-funded capacity-building and/or MEL activities in Cambodia and/or Southeast Asia. Experience with USAID projects preferred;
  • Strong technical knowledge of and experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Capacity building
    • Training and mentoring
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • Facilitation
    • Monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL)
    • Collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA)
    • Organizational management
    • Youth engagement and mobilization
    • Gender equality and women’s empowerment
    • Social inclusion
    • Communications and knowledge management
    • Administration and finance
    • Contract management
    • Translation and interpretation
    • Sectoral knowledge and experience in the following sectors:
      • Agriculture
      • Natural resources management
      • Climate and resilience
      • Private sector development
      • Economic growth
      • Education
      • Health
      • Democracy, human rights, and governance (DRG)
      • Peace and stability

 

  • Strong project management skills, along with highly developed interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; and
  • Written and verbal fluency in Khmer or other local dialects.
