Adjunct Faculty - Cultural Anthropology

JOB SUMMARY:

The Department of Anthropology, Adelphi University, New York, invites applications for a part-time faculty position beginning in January 2025. The candidate should be prepared to teach two sections a semester.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master’s degree in Anthropology is required.
  2. Applicants with or actively pursuing a Ph.D. are preferred.
  3. While the geographic and research areas are open, the department seeks a candidate with experience teaching introductory Cultural Anthropology or related courses.

SALARY INFORMATION:

In compliance with New York’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary for this position is $1,798 per credit.
