This role supports the leadership of the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional and memorable dining experience for guests across the resort. Success in this position requires strong leadership capability, the ability to effectively coordinate a team in a high‑end kitchen environment, and a proven focus on cost control and achieving results aligned with budget and previous performance. This is a hands‑on role, with an expectation to lead by example and work alongside the team during peak service periods.

What You'll Do

• Support the Executive Chef in developing and delivering menus that align with the venue’s concept and leave a lasting positive impression on guests
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial management, including menu costing, cost of goods (COGs), labour management, and minimising wastage
• Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation standards across all areas of the restaurant
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) standards, actively promoting safe work practices within the kitchen

What You'll Bring

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Food Safety Certificate (completed in the last two years) - For the state you will be working in - See - Do Food Safely (VIC Resorts) or Do Food Safely (NSW Resorts)
• A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar position
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills
