Shape the Future of Hospitality Across Australia’s Iconic Alpine Resorts
As Director, Hospitality Experience, you’ll lead Food & Beverage, Accommodation, Retail, Rental and In-Resort Guest Service operations across Vail Resorts Australia– overseeing a large, multi-site, guest-facing portfolio that sits at the heart of our resort experience. Reporting to our VP & GM - Perisher, you’ll be one of the most senior leaders in the Australian business, with genuine autonomy to set direction and drive impact across our Perisher, Hotham & Falls Creek resorts.
Your mandate is clear and compelling: elevate guest experiences, deliver strong commercial performance, and lead high-performing teams through complex, high-volume seasonal operations — all while embedding a culture grounded in safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
What You'll Lead
- A peak workforce of up to 400 team members across three resorts, supported by strong functional leaders
- End-to-end hospitality operations, with a major focus on transforming Food & Beverage experiences
- Revenue growth, cost discipline and guest satisfaction, including NPS uplift
- Operational readiness for Winter 2026, including flagship venues such as Mid Station, Blue Cow Bistro and Viva Alpina
- Build leadership capability, succession and engagement across hospitality functions
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years’ experience leading large-scale, guest-facing hospitality or tourism operations
- Background in resorts, cruise hospitality or complex multi-venue environments
- Strong commercial acumen, with hands-on experience managing P&Ls and seasonal budgets
- A strategic, people-first leadership style suited to complexity, scale and change
